Through systematic world-standard MBA education, Peking University - Vlerick Business School MBA programme aims to nurture a group of executives with a mastery of the theories and practices of international business and build a group of leaders with knowledge, vision and entrepreneurship. The curriculum focuses on developing students’ core management skills, application of advanced management theory in Chinese practices and a wider range of skills related to different areas. Internationally used MBA textbooks are employed and English is set as the teaching language, with the exception of the courses holding Chinese cases.

  In-company Project (ICP)
 
1. Courses with * are elective courses.                                          
2. Courses with ** are MSGF program courses. Only those students who are registered for the MSGF program can transfer these courses as elective courses towards their MBA degree.                               
3. Full-time Students are required to do an ICP, to meet the graduation requirements, students are expected to complete a number of elective courses carrying a total of 21 credits.                                             
4. Part-time Students can choose to do an ICP or to complete a number of elective courses.
 

In-company Consultancy Project (ICP)

The ICP constitutes the important final stage of the MBA program. It enables students to integrate themselves in a real business environment and apply the knowledge, skills and experience they have acquired during the MBA program.
Faced with a current, real business problem or strategic question, students must prepare a plan of action, analyze the situation, develop a series of options and evaluate these to produce recommendations that will work. By doing the project, the students can learn to work against deadlines, write management reports and make professional presentations. At the conclusion of the project, the quality and applicability of the project delivery are assessed by a jury of both academics and business professionals.

Application Process

STEP 1: Submit Online Application
Candidates need to successfully submit the online application first. All the supporting documents need to be uploaded. You can access to the online application system here

·   A copy of your university degree/diploma
·   A copy of your official university transcript
·   A quick overview of your company
* The overview of the company should include the overview of the company (public, private, or non-profit), the management, and the product(s) or service(s) and the market position in its sector. Please also provide the company's organizational structure as it relates to you (department specific).
·   Two letters of recommendation (The template can be found HERE)
·   A copy of your passport
·   Four passport-size color photos with white background
·   Your GMAT score certificate (original, If you choose to take BiMBA On-Campus Test, this document is optional) score certificate
·   A copy of your TOEFL / IELTS score report (or other substitute English language test: CET-6, TEM8) score certificate (original, If you choose to take On-Campus Test, this document is optional)
·   Other documents (optional)
STEP 2: Attend Interview
When your online application is approved, you can take the interview on the date you select in STEP 1. The 50 minutes interview will be held by our admission committee members, which consists of self-introduction, Q&A about application and themed presentation (the theme will be emailed one week before the interview and 10-15 slides are needed). 
STEP 3: Take Tests
Candidates can choose to submit GMAT/GRE test score OR take PKU-Vlerick on-campus test. 
STEP 4: Get Admission Result
Candidates will receive admission decision within 3 weeks.

Tuition

The 2017 Full-time MBA tuition is RMB260,000, including fees of textbooks and handouts. Students can pay the total tuition in 3 installments within 18 months.

The 2017 Part-time MBA tuition is RMB290,000, including fees of textbooks and handouts. Students can pay the total tuition in 4 installments within 2 years.

Visa

Full-time international students are required to obtain Student Visa (X visa) during their study at Peking University. The deadline for Visa application is July 5th, 2017. Students from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau do not need student visa.
