2023 PKU “M-Talents” Summer School
Program Introduction
In 2023, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University (PKU) launched the “M-Talents Summer School” program, offering premium courses and institute tours related to materials science, advanced engineering, etc, to overseas undergraduates from all over the world. This program will also provide extensive and in-depth Chinese-foreign cultural exchange events and cultural activities.
Program Course and Activities Arrangements
Class mode: Offline courses on campus at Peking University
Event schedule:
Day 1 Student registration
Day 2 Premium courses @ campus
Day 3 Lectures on frontier discipline and laboratory visits
Day 4 Research institute visits and exchanges
Day 5 Enterprise visits and workshops
Day 6 A Journey of Chinese culture
Application Prerequisites
1. The program is open to worldwide undergraduate students.
2. The program will last from July 10, 2023 to July 15, 2023.
Application General Instruction
1. Application for the program must be done online at http://www.studyatpku.com.
2. Online application period:
Starts: May 8, 2023
Ends: May 19, 2023

The online application system will only be open during that time. Please complete the application within the specified time period above.
Application Steps

2. Register your account with your email address and log in.
NOTE:
When signing up, please ensure that the email address you provide is valid. After successfully signing up, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address, and following announcements associated with the program will be sent to the corresponding email address.
3. Click on Application, then enter the “M-Talents” Summer School Program and click Submit.
4. Fill in all the required information.
NOTE:
For Basic Information, please upload a headshot photo with dimensions of 640*480px in JPG/BNP/GIF/PNG format and with a file size of less than 1 MB.
5. Submit your application.
After submitting the online application, please wait for the admission confirmation. You can check the registration status in the application system.
Payment
Registration fees and tuition fees are free.
Travel, living, and other expenses are not covered. Students traveling from overseas universities will receive a one-time ¥5000 stipend after graduating the summer school. Students traveling from domestic universities, including Hong Kong, Macau, & Taiwan, will receive a one-time ¥2000 stipend after graduating the summer school.
