The 2026 Annual Evaluation for Chinese Government Scholarship holders has begun. According to the CGS management regulations, all international students receiving the Chinese Government Scholarship must complete and pass the annual evaluation in order to receive the scholarship for the next academic year.
The following three categories of students are required to participate in the annual evaluation on time:
1. Students who plan to continue receiving the Chinese Government Scholarship after September 2026;
2. Ph.D. students who were expected to graduate in July 2026, but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship;
3. Students who failed the 2025 annual evaluation, and have been suspended from their scholarship qualification, if they intend to resume their scholarship.
The relevant evaluation requirements and guidelines have been sent to participating students via email. Please be sure to follow the guidelines and complete the online self-evaluation in the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System before April 30. Students who fail to participate in the annual scholarship evaluation without valid reason will be disqualified from the Chinese Government Scholarship.
According to the relevant requirements issued by the China Scholarship Council, the university will conduct evaluation to grade students quantitatively on compliance with rules and regulations, academic performance, study/research attitude, and participation in activities. Please carefully review and summarize your performance over the past year and fill in the relevant contents truthfully.
