The arrangements related to the scholarship extension of 2026 for Ph.D. students are notified as follows：
I. Eligibility requirements
1. Ph.D. students with Chinese Government Scholarship who are originally expected to graduate in July 2026（including those who are expected to graduate in January 2027）but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship.
2. Have completed the student status extension at the respective department/school.
3. Have passed the comprehensive examination and completed the thesis proposal.
4. Have applied for and will pass the annual evaluation for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
II. Application Procedure
Application form must be submitted to Room 328 of the International Students Division before 16:00, April 27, 2026 (working days only). Late submissions will not be accepted.
III. Other instructions
1. Ph.D. students with Chinese Government Scholarship may only apply for the extension once during their study period. The extension period can be one semester or one academic year. Students who have already received a scholarship extension are not eligible to apply again.
2. The result of the scholarship extension is subject to the final approval of the China Scholarship Council.
