Double Degree Programs

Guanghua MBA has established double degree program cooperation with many prestigious business schools around the globe. After admission to Guanghua MBA, currently enrolled students can apply to our partner schools for double degree program. Successful applicants will spend one year at Guanghua, and one year at one of our partner schools.

*Cornell MMH: Master of Management in Hospitality

**ESADE-GSM MBA: Students must submit applications to both ESADE and Guanghua. Students are only admitted into the double degree program when admitted by both institutions.

***Double Degree Programs except ESADE-GSM Program: All enrolled MBA students can apply for Double MBA Degree Programs AFTER the new semester starts at Guanghua.

2. Application Eligibility
   1. Applicants must hold non-Chinese citizenship.

Previous Chinese citizens, including Chinese mainland, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan residents, who emigrated to foreign countries and now apply to Guanghua MBA as international applicants, must submit effective foreign passports or other foreign citizenship documentary proof that are dated earlier than April 30, 2020, and the proof of Chinese citizenship cancellation.

Note: The exit and entry administration authority of the public security organ of China reserves the right to judge whether an applicant still has Chinese nationality. If during the application period or even after the admission or registration the applicant is judged to be still holding Chinese nationality, his/her application, admission, registration or even enrollment will be nullified.

1. 2. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or above from a university/college accredited by the Ministry of Education of China.
   3. Applicants with bachelor’s degree should have at least three years post-graduation work experience before matriculation day, i.e. September 2026; applicants with master’s or doctor’s degree should have at least two years post-graduation work experience before matriculation day, i.e. September 2026. Applicants who do not meet the above work experience requirements can apply; if admitted, the admission offer can be held effective until the academic year when such requirements are met, but will become void if the applicant does not register for enrollment in that year.
   4. Competitive GMAT, GMAT Focus Edition or GRE score, or attend Peking University Guanghua MBA Entrance Exam.

3. Expenses

1. Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of RMB 800 payable online
2. Tuition Fee for 2026 intake:

Full-time Global MBA: RMB 188,000

Part-time MBA: RMB 428,000

3. Cornell-Peking MMH&MBA Program:

RMB 351,000 for Guanghua part, USD 49,500 for Cornell part. Tuition fees are paid to both Guanghua and Cornell by two installments. Travel and living costs for study in Cornell campus module should be covered by students.

4. Double Degree Program:

Pay first year fees to PKU and second year fees to partner school, except for Cornell-Peking MMH&MBA Program.

4. Required Documents

All application documents should be submitted online. A complete application includes

2) Resume/CV (no more than 2 pages)

3) Degree diploma of bachelor’s degree and/or above; bachelor degree conferral date should be in July/August 2023 or earlier

4) Degree diplomas awarded by universities outside Chinese mainland must be authenticated by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, P. R. China (CSCSE) at https://zwfw.cscse.edu.cn/. Degree diplomas awarded by universities within Chinese mainland must be authenticated by the Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P. R. China (CSSD) at https://www.chsi.com.cn/.

5) Transcripts of bachelor’s degree and/or above

6) Essays (topics are included in the online application form)

7) Personal statement (template included in online application form, Supporting Documents section)

8) Two recommendation letters submitted by referees via online application system

9) Scanned passport page with personal information. Passport type must be ordinary, and the passport’s date of expiry should be after December 2026.

10) Official GMAT/GRE score report within five years of application deadline or Peking University Guanghua MBA Entrance Exam score. The Guanghua MBA Entrance Exam is an alternative option that Guanghua provides to applicants to substitute GMAT/GRE.

11) Certificate of HSK Level 6 within two years of application deadline - total score above 210 and writing section above 65. Qualified HSK 7–9 level scores are also accepted. (Only required for international candidates applying to the Part-Time MBA Program or the Cornell-Peking Dual Degree MMH-MBA Program taught in Chinese)

**All materials must be submitted in Chinese or English, and the application documents cannot be returned.

5. GMAT & GRE Code (Country code: CHN)

* Verbal, Quantitative, Analytical Writing and Integrated Reasoning scores should all be included.

6. Application Procedure

1. 1. Application File Review

The application files will be reviewed on rolling basis. Once the application file is complete, Guanghua MBA admissions committee will review the file and decide whether an interview invitation will be given.

1. 2. Interview

For 2026 fall intake, there will be five rounds of applications. An interview will be organized after each round. Each candidate will only be invited to interview once on a round basis.

1. 3. Preliminary Admission Results

The preliminary admission result will be released by email within 1-2 weeks after interview.

7. Official Offer Letter & Visa

Peking University Graduate School will review and confirm the preliminary admission results, and Peking University International Student Division will publish the final admission results and issue the official Offer Letter and Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) by middle July 2026. MBA full-time students should apply for type X1 visa to enter China and apply for residence permit within 30 days of arrival. All international students should purchase medical insurance in China. 8. Scholarship

Guanghua offers entrance scholarships based on merits, ranging from full tuition waiver, half tuition waiver to various amount of monetary support.
